5 Things You Need to Know About Upcoming Ole Miss vs Georgia Game

This weekend, the Rebels face off with the No. 3 ranked Georgia Bulldogs in Oxford. With a home field advantage and lots of energy around this game, here is everything you have to know about this face off:

1. The Ole Miss Rebels offense has been dominating this year. This team opened their season with a 76-0 win against Furman, and this type of scoring continues against SEC opponents. This past weekend, Ole Miss put up 63 against Arkansas while holding them to 31.
2. The Bulldogs are a mere 2.5-point favorite for the game. Ole Miss is ranked No.16, so quite a few spots behind.
3. Last season, the Georgia Bulldogs beat Ole Miss 52-17.
4. The new defense at Ole Miss has been a game changer. The Rebels have NFL-caliber players defensively that they did not have before.
5. Ole Miss’s Jaxson Dart is one of the best quarterback statistically at the moment. When compared to Cam Ward (the current leader in the Heisman trophy discussion), Dart has more passing yards and a higher completion percentage.

In conclusion, this will be an exciting game and a real opportunity for Ole Miss to prove itself. With Ole Miss falling in the rankings and Georgia climbing them, the results will be poetic no matter who wins.
