Northwest Women Stay Undefeated… For Now…

The Northwest Community College Women’s soccer team has started off their season strong. They are overall 4–0, making their winning percentage 1.000. All their games have been on their home turf, and no conference games have been played. Some of their games have been down to the wire, like their August 28th game against the No. 7 team of Heartland. Contrastingly, in some of their matchups, they have blown their opponent out of the water. On August 24th, their opening game of the season, they won 7–0 against Mineral Area College. Out of their four games, two have been against top 10 ranked opponents. This continues tonight, in their game against No. 13 team, the St. Louis Archers. Northwest’s dominance against non-MACCC teams shows the dominance that MACCC athletes perform at, as this is a common trend for other MACCC women’s teams across the board. They absolutely dominate non-conference play, which is a testament to the difficulty of their league.

Next Tuesday they will be playing the No. 2 Jones College team for their first conference matchup.
