Jackson State Makes Comeback Against Prairie View
After losing their lead in the first half, Jackson State was able to win the game 79–74 against their competitors Prairie View A&M.
The Jackson State men’s basketball team faced off with Prairie View A&M on the road. They had lost their lead in the first half, but their deficit was short lived. After falling behind, Jackson State picked their lead back up with 2:25 left in the first half. By the time the first half had closed out, they had a four point advantage. The game was close for most of the duration, but the Tigers were able to outshine the Panthers in free-throw percentage, rebounds, and points, leading them to their ultimate triumph.
The Jackson State bench is what carried this game, scoring 24 points total. Most of these points came from two players, Hunt and Cook, who came off the bench to score 11 points each. Up next, the Tigers will play at home on March 7 at 7:30 PM.
