Player Profile: Dan Robinson, Belhaven Basketball’s Beast

A 6’2” junior guard from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dan Robinson has wasted no time establishing himself as an undeniably gifted player in his first season at Belhaven. Robinson comes to Mississippi after two strong years playing for Wabash Valley Community College in Indiana. At Wabash, Robinson racked up some serious stats. He played 59 games with 47 starts, averaged 9.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists, all of which earned Robinson a spot on the 2024 GRAC All-Conference Team.

Now leading the Blazers at 15.1 points per game (just ahead of teammate Braylon Dame (14.3)) Robinson has quickly become Belhaven’s catalyst for success. His December 2nd breakout against Millsaps showed just what he’s been working towards at Belhaven: 29 points, 7 assists, and an 11-for-19 shooting performance in an 88–80 battle where he led all players in scoring and playmaking. Against MUW, he once again set the tone, topping Belhaven in points (17), assists (3), and steals (5).

As basketball season starts to really gain steam, all eyes are on Robinson as the Blazers seek to establish their conference position.
