The Great Golf Team of Ole Miss
It’s ball or nothing for the Rebel golf team. New rankings have been released April 10th, showing the University of Mississippi’s dominance in the golf world.
After a recent tournament last weekend, the Ole Miss men’s golf team have been able to hold strong to their number five ranking. They are ranked the fifth best team in the NCAA Division I rankings, just below Vanderbilt, Auburn, North Carolina, and Arizona State. They have a winning percentage of 72.30, and a 74–16–1 record. Being in the top five is a massive triumph for the University of Mississippi’s golf program, and the women are not far behind. The Ole Miss women’s team are in the top 15, coming in at number 13 in their NCAA Division I ranking. The lady Rebels have a win percentage of 68.20 and record of 98–36–0.
Having both the men’s and women’s team in the top 15 is a huge feat. The Rebel golf teams have both been dominating in ways that Mississippi has not seen in a long time and should not go unnoticed.
