Ole Miss Hires Zach Arnett After Being Fired from Mississippi State
The Ole Miss Rebels have hired former Mississippi State coach, Zach Arnett, in the position of an analyst. Arnett was head coach at Mississippi State during the 2022 to 2023 season following the unexpected death of previous Mississippi coach, Mike Leach. Arnett was made the interim head coach after Leach, but swiftly terminated in November 2023 after the Bulldogs opened the season with a 4-6 record.
After being let go without a full year on the job as head coach at State, Arnett has now been welcomed by the Rebel family as an analyst for their football team. Before head coach, Arnett had served as defensive coordinator under Mike Leach, and even helped the Bulldogs win the 2022 egg bowl. Now his skills will be utilized for Ole Miss to help lead them to victories.
