Meet Justin LeBlanc, the Athletic Director Revitalizing Millsaps College Athletics
With Justin LeBlanc at the helm, Millsaps College Athletics is reinvigorating their athletics program, including a recently-revived M-Club. Now serving as the college’s Director of Athletics, LeBlanc once donned the Majors uniform himself when he was a 4-year letterman on the Millsaps basketball team.
LeBlanc has been named SAA Coach of the Year three times, an honor that reflects his record-setting coaching career. Since starting as the Millsaps’ women’s basketball coach in 2016, LeBlanc strung together one victory after another, including a record-setting 2023–2024 season with the most wins in program history. That same year, the women’s basketball team made their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1986, all under LeBlanc’s careful leadership.
Now in his current role as athletic director, LeBlanc is able to support not only women’s basketball, but all of Millsaps. Notably, he oversaw the relaunch of the M-Club, providing alumni, families, and supporters with a direct avenue to impact the lives of student-athletes. The M-Club offers resources that benefit individual teams and strategic investments across all varsity sports, reaching over 350 student athletes across Millsaps’ 18 varsity programs.
As a coach and as an athletic director, LeBlanc is interested in more than trophies and accolades. He prefers to focus on building a successful program from the ground up, and his work starts with supporting his student athletes. “Together,” LeBlanc says, “we can make a MAJOR difference in building a stronger foundation for Millsaps Athletics—one that champions the values we hold dear and ensures a championship-level experience for every Major.”
