Ole Miss Hosts Tulane in First-Ever CFP Appearance

No. 6 seed Ole Miss will host No. 11 seed Tulane on Saturday, December 20, at 3:30 p.m. EST at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, where they’ll be duking it out for a spot in the next round of the College Football Playoffs.

This matchup marks an historic moment for both programs, as Ole Miss and the Green Wave are each making their first appearance in the 12-team CFP.

Ole Miss is one of 12 teams to qualify for the expanded field and enters the postseason ranked sixth overall. Tulane, seeded 11th, will hope to overcome Ole Miss’ home field advantage and their lower ranking. Ole Miss won their most recent meeting earlier this season, rolling past Tulane 45–10 in Oxford.

The winner will advance to face Georgia in the next round.
