Penn State’s Kanye Clary Signs & Josh Hubbard Stays
Mississippi State’s new golden boy of Basketball, Josh Hubbard, reveals via social media he is staying part of the Bulldog family for his sophomore season. The 5’10” freshman was born and raised in Madison, Mississippi and the local has been a fan of Mississippi State basketball since he was a kid. Mississippi State is happy to keep him, as he is a record-breaking player with Mississippi pride.
The talented shooter will now be teammates with Kanye Clary, who is trading blue and white for maroon and white. From Penn State, Clary was one of the team’s better players, averaging 16.7 points a game. He entered the transfer portal from Penn State for reasons unknown but has been picked up by Coach Jan to join the Mississippi State program. The former Penn State guard had committed to Mississippi State via social media last Friday.
Clary is the first transfer to Mississippi state this off-season, while contrastingly guard Shakeel Moore has entered the transfer portal to possibly leave Mississippi State.
