State Football Secures Homecoming Win
Mississippi State wins their first football game since August, breaking a 7 game losing streak. A homecoming miracle, the Bulldogs claimed victory over UMass with a score of 45-20.
MSU has not won a game since their season opener against Eastern Kentucky. As the team goes through a ‘rebuild’ season, they have had a hard time getting back on their feet. However, this weekend the Dawgs showed out for homecoming. The new standout freshman quarterback, Michael Van Buren Jr, accounted for three total touchdowns. He was able to finish with 222 yards passing, and two run in touchdowns. Outside of the quarterback, Jordan Moseley put up an impressive 107 receiving yards.
