Bulldogs’ Schedule Set For 2025 Soccer Campaign

Mississippi State broke program records last year, winning the SEC regular season title and earning a one seed in the NCAA Tournament. This season, State will have high expectations again. But having another historic season will not be easy with the schedule they will face.

The Bulldogs will play 17 total games with nine at the MSU Soccer Field. In 2024, State’ fans broke the single-game attendance record four different times throughout the year. The regular season opens up on Aug. 14 at home against UT Martin.

After kicking off against the Skyhawks, State will face Jacksonville State and national runner-up Wake Forest before a road trip to face Big 12 teams Baylor and Oklahoma State to close out the month of August.

Non-conference play ends after State hosts Louisiana Tech on Sep. 4 and traveling to Mobile, Alabama to face South Alabama on Sep. 7. SEC play will begin with the Bulldogs hosting Tennessee on Sep. 12 before traveling to Texas on Sep. 18. The pattern will continue to end September with State facing Auburn at home and then Missouri on the road.

State will close out the regular season with six games in October: Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Georgia at home, and Arkansas, Florida and Alabama on the road.

The Bulldogs’ tough schedule stems from a stacked SEC, with eight teams on this year’s schedule making the NCAA Tournament in 2024. The conference will continue to be hungry, and State will be up for the challenge under head coach Nick Zimmerman.
