State Soccer Currently Ranked Best it Has Ever Been

The Bulldogs have earned their highest rank in program history. Mississippi State’s women’s soccer team has earned a new ranking of No. 9 in the country according to the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll. This is the highest ranking in program history, and is following two major SEC victories. To open SEC play, State defeated the unbeaten No. 11 Texas and a 2-0 victory over Oklahoma.

The team is sitting with a current record of 9-1, and 3-0 in conference play. They are undefeated at home (7-0) and play again this Friday at home against the No. 2 team, Arkansas. The Mississippi State vs. Arkansas game will be one of passion and grit, and the Bulldogs will have to step out with their best performance.
